Getting to the Slopes from Newpark: A Guide to Both Resorts
Choose your arrival base first, then plan the drive or transit trip. Here is how to organize a mountain morning from Newpark.

Newpark is your neighborhood home base, with a drive or transit journey to the ski areas. Plan the outward trip and the return before leaving with your equipment.
Park City Mountain
Choose Mountain Village or Canyons Village based on your tickets, rentals, and lessons. Parking arrangements differ by base and may require reservations or payment. Use the resort’s current arrival guide for your dates.
Deer Valley
Use the base or meeting location shown on your reservation. Check Deer Valley’s current transportation and parking guidance instead of assuming every entrance serves the same plan.
Taking transit
Use High Valley Transit’s route information and trip-planning tools to confirm your starting stop, destination, connections, and return service. Check Park City Transit when your journey continues into town. Allow extra time around lesson check-in and busy travel periods.
We avoid fixed drive times here: traffic, snow, your chosen base, and your route all matter. Save the relevant directions before heading out.
Plan with current information
