A little planning before departure makes the first morning easier. Keep your confirmations together and share the plan with everyone in your group.

Book the mountain essentials

  • Tickets or passes: Confirm your specific dates and any reservation requirements directly with the resort.
  • Lessons: Match the class to each person’s age and experience. Check the meeting base and arrival instructions.
  • Rentals: Arrange equipment and ask when fitting or collection can happen. Check what is included.

Plan arrival and the first morning

Choose a resort base before arranging parking or transit. Leave room for equipment pickup, getting dressed, and finding your meeting point. Check whether your lesson package includes lift access rather than assuming it does.

Make coming home easy

Plan a simple first dinner, breakfast supplies, and snacks. Each skiNewpark home has a full kitchen, so a grocery stop can simplify your mornings. Our Around Newpark guide lists nearby shops and restaurants.
